Casablanca – The 14th edition of the “Ftour Pluriel”, a flagship meeting of living together, brought together, Thursday evening in Casablanca, the representatives of the three monotheistic religions among more than 200 personalities, around the same table breaking the young.
Initiated by the Associations ”Moroccan Millennium Leaders”, ‘Morocains Pluriels’ and ‘Salam Lekoulam’ and with the support of the Konrad Adenaeur Stiftung Foundation, this 2024 edition placed under the theme ‘Let’s turn on the lights’, took place at Riad Benjelloun of Zaouia Boutchichia in the old medina, in the presence of the Advisor to His Majesty the King and founding president of the Essaouira-Mogador Association, André Azoulay, the governor of the prefecture of districts of Casablanca-Anfa, Aziz Dades , numerous diplomats including the ambassadors of the United States, France, Senegal and Switzerland, alongside a host of actors from civil society and the artistic and cultural community of Morocco.
On this occasion, Mr. Azoulay indicated, in a statement to MAP, that more than ever, this message that Morocco is sending today to the rest of the world is a message which is both that of loyalty, of resilience and the capacity of our country, including in the most difficult times, to be an example of living together, thanks to our specificity of “Tamaghrabit”, the fruit of a pioneering and singular choice of Morocco, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty the King, to re-appropriate the richness, the depth, the legitimacy of all its diversities, today at the heart of the social modernity of our country.
